Payment

For your security I accept only payment through PayPal, including debit and credit cards. Shipping and handling are extra and are added to your total on the PayPal checkout page.  

Shipping

Once payment is received, items will be shipped by U.S. Postal Service within 2-3 days.  You will be notified by e-mail or an etsy convo when your item(s) are shipped.   Shipping is currently to the Continental United States only.  If for some reason shipping may be delayed, you will be notified within one day of purchase. Items are shipped in protective and secure packaging.  I am not responsible, however, for loss or damage incurred during shipping. I do require the purchase of insurance on all sales over $75.00

Note: If you are from outside the U.S. and absolutely would love to purchase something, contact me through e-mail before ordering and I will determine what additional shipping costs you may have to incur. 

Returns

Returns or exchanges may be made within 15 days of purchases, provided items are returned in the exact condition they were sent with proper packaging.  E-mail me at valerietylerdesigns@yahoo.com for return instructions.  Items will be accepted with a copy of the confirmation response e-mail from Valerie Tyler Designs, and proper return shipment.   Unfortunately there is no refund for shipping charges, and Valerie Tyler Designs is NOT responsible for refunding lost items.  Please allow time for refunds to be credited to your account.

Jewelry Care

Though jewelry from Valerie Tyler Designs is of the highest quality, please remember to still take proper care of it.  Most items are made of sterling silver, copper of gold-fill. 
It is natural for sterling silver to tarnish over time. You can prevent some tarnishing by keeping your sterling jewelry in an airtight bag.  If items do become tarnished you may clean them with a soft cotton or flannel cloth, soap and water, or a non-scratch micro abrasive cleaner or silver polish.  Some designs may have been oxidized to give them an antique look.  Keep in mind cleaning these may remove the darker tones.

For gemstones and pearls DO NOT use chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, simply use a damp soft cloth to wipe them off. 

The best thing you can do to take care of your jewelry is to put it on after lotions or makeup, take it off first when you are done wearing it, and to put it away securely in a dry place. Keep your jewelry out of contact with salt, chlorine, household cleaners or any harsh chemicals, as they may discolor your jewelry.
